finally watched the long-awaited show on tues :)

i felt that the cast were superb. i was super intrigued by the pretty little gal Suzuka Ohgo who played Chiyo (the young Sayuri). despite her age, she really acted her role like a veteran! Gong Li brought life to the villain Hatsumomo as a jealous schemer.. she's damn good good good. Michelle Yeoh (the fairy godmother in the show) as usual, acted her role very well and spoke the most "comprehensible" english. wahahahaha! Pumpkin was entertaining to watch, esp towards the ending of the movie. The other men, The Baron and Nobu were good as well.

Sayuri's romancing with the charming and suave Chairman, played by Ken Watanabe, was one of the main highlights in the show~ but i felt that he seemed too contrived and low-key in his role. he could have done better! it was rather disturbing that the Chairman is a paedophile in the film who was attracted to 9 year-old Chiyo.. that gal has not gone through puberty at that age, for goodness sake! as the years are passing, zhang ziyi was jus waiting forever to be with ken watanabe. too bad there is not enough story and emotion for 2.5 hours of running time...

fcuked by the fcuking flu bug these fcuking few days... wats fcuking wrong with me?!

i kinda underblogged these days. sometimes, it's not as simple as putting in words about how the day went, who offended you, what sort of movie/drama you watch last night or wat interesting stuff u did. yet most of the time, that's how my entry goes. i wonder why i havent been blogging.. hmmmmph. so now, a lot backtracking is required but i'm too shagged to do it..

*ahhhhh chooo...*

think i would not be able to survive in a cold country. might end up looking as though i am having an epilepsy attack... *shivers*

i love being in my cold little room. i think anyone clastrophobic will not last ten minutes in my room. it smells kinda funny but it's a safe place i could be in. when i'm lonely, i think there's something about my room that makes me feel secured. i've learnt that i'm someone who needs alot, alot of personal space and my room is the bestest shelter i ever had.

i think there's a 'safe place' for everyone. a place where one feels secured in... that place might be anywhere. church, temple, hilltop, bathroom (beware of slippery floor.. -_-'''),... wherever u can think of. i suppose everyone's got a reason to choose their own safe hideout place.

the thing is, does everyone really have a safe shelter?

the rain.

it's been raining the whole day.

i was outside this morning for quite some time. it was raining. raining makes me feel down. i think it's the cold feeling that i get.

how i wish i have some more sleep to on a rainy day...brrrr...

first week of skool is not too bad. jus that i think i gonna suck big time in hand rehab. the first splint i did is far from pass i think. greattt.

saturday

went for this 'home safety evaluation' event at blks 51 and 52 at chin swee road.. eh gladys, shd have met u for breakfast or sth... haha~! we took quite alot of pics.. *self entertainment again* will post up the pics soon~

did i mention that i cut my hair on my way back home? heez!

attended joanna's 21st birthday party in the evening~ she's a great host! pics will be up soon yeah~ (can see my new hair!)
