went zoo with the ponegard clique early in the morning~ slp for only 2.5 hrs the nite before... so was kinda lethargic. my head was spinning the whole day.. nonetheless, i enjoyed myself :)

watched the long awaited initial d~ the movie's not up to my expectations :( but its generally not too bad la. downloaded some files on the making of the movie... itz really tough filming the racing scenes can.. poor edison, jay and shawn yue (in order of preference) LOL* edison looks damn cute in the show!!! heez!

BLARDY HELL. i'm am in deep shittt. when will i have the blardy time to start my revision when my days are kinda packed with appointments of gatherings and birthday celebrations?!?!? wahahahahhaha~ i'm TAMADE worried and scared that i cant cope in the second year..

Annually, there is a big commotion & insecurities at the start of the semester about COP1A Biomechanical & Sensorimotor Dysfunction because students will have to be in swimsuit attire. (oh dear... super stressed!) The few males must be prepared to be in swim trunks and be palpated more as there are fewer of you. Well, this is part of the pushing your comfort zones to be comfortable with your own body and palpating body parts to make clinical decisions and treatment. (hmm... ) Trust me, when the class gets started, you will forget about "self-consciousness" (i will? we shall see..) as this topic area is not an easy subject and it needs full participation to learn your psychomotor skills. Your cognition will drown your emotion. (ehhh.. okie we shall see~) I take the class seriously and those not dressed appropriately will not participate in the class.

Year 2 seems to be a very "doing" oriented year. But I don't want people to loose sight that OT, first and foremost, is a thinking profession which strictly follow the problem solving process to assist their patients. Clinical reasoning and communicating this reasoning to the patient, their family and the health care team is valued deeply in a client centred profession. What does it take to be a good OT - perseverance, communication skills, a positive outlook on life, a sense of humour, open mindedness, proactivity, an interest in society, problem solving, creative thinking, using evidence and sound application of knowledge and skills are some of the inherent qualities of good clinicians.

friday, 10 June
went harbourfront with cynthia and kitty for their autograph session. it was one of the most suay ones, i would say. the biggest mistake was not taking the queue no (machiam see doc) when we arrived there. urgh. we were too gian to watch them perform and then ended up queuing for 3+ hours under the drizzle after dat. the most unlucky thing happened when we were informed that the autograph session must end by 11pm. SO, we were unable to go onstage to get their oh-so-pretty autographs. ended up hafta impose some strangers to help us get our albums and concert tics signed. we were scrutinising the queue of pple to pick out the MOST HONEST LOOKING person to help us. LOL. 4 concerts tic worth more than 400 bucks, mind you. of course we must select the right person to do it. i was damn suspicious of those 2 guys we picked.. 1 uncle-looking guy whom we could recognise as one of those ardent fans for the past few years as he was present for most events we went to, and the other was an innocent looking xiao didi. hahaha~ a pity that we didnt manage to see those 4 upclose. Shitt.

this time me and kitty became smarter. we queued up for the 933 street concert and managed to get ourselves into the priority-standing area. woohoo. the concert was quite a disappointment for me. FIR was the opening act and the stupid audience was not exactly warmed up. urgh. lousy audience. while Tanya was performing her song on stage, energy had arrived at the scene from mediacorp after the psc nite and was brought into the tent (waiting area). they were spotted by their avid fans who started a run of scream which had caused Tanya a fright on stage. LOL. then sth idiotic happened. just when the scream was subsiding, that silly Kunda, who was escorted by a security guard and a policeman (i think), made his way to the washroom inside taka which again caused another round of scream. wadda hell. he was damn paiseh that he dared not lift up his head. he was covering his mouth as he was laffin to himself.. as usual. fans at the side pushed beyond the barricades and i was kinda squashed. quite fun. lol. made some new frens there. i was glad that they were abt the same age as me.. hehe~ anyway, all the singers were damn zai. no one went out of pitch at all. impressive!

received calls from my new frens at 7am that they were queuing for the autograph cum handshaking session @ CCK Lot 1 le. according to them, the place was packed with pple liao. oh man, 7am?!??! so me being so lazy didn��t go in the end. CCK is super far can. then my very kind new fren gave me a pair of VIP passes for the FIR event at IMM and a tic for the Cenosis TV Shooting @ Mediacorp which energy and FIR are the guest performers.. didn��t go for em too. ask me, any regrets? i dunno. maybe. cuz this is energy��s last trip to sg liao (excluding the upcoming concert in july lar).
