sometimes i think that life is pointless. we come to this world, we mature, and then we die.
and so what if we are successful? so what if we acquire great wealth? it will all come to an end sooner or later. we pass out of this world, leaving everything behind- fame, achievements, money, friends etc. so what's the point? why are we here?
even now, the seconds are ticking by. we cannot predict what will happen in the next millisecond. we cannot make all your hopes and wishes come true with just a wave of a magic wand.
if we enter this world only to leave it in the end, why step in in the first place?
those who are anticipating my great death, no i am very much alive and kicking. the world is still a good place though and nonetheless, it will not be any better off without me.

LOL. (blabbering rubbish again)
i was walking around the house with a blanket wrapped around me and pretended to be some sort of superhero. i stood on the sofa and the bed and imagined i was going to fly down from a height. haha. i call this... natural high.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KITTY! [22 Nov]
joanna lim jie ying suggested that we gave kitty a surprise visit and so we did! the trio, made up of a weird combination of ppl (note: i say weird combi, not weird ppl hor) met around 11pm on the cold tuesday nite at the void deck at Tampines Blk 382. so exciting! we lit up the candles outside her house before we rang the doorbell. then the silly us jus stood there without singing the birthday song.. LOL. ok, never mind about that, i'm sure miss kitty priscilla fong kitty is touched by this surprise visit :) i can even see a big question mark popping outta her head when she saw the trio combi.
we cut the cake, eat, talk, watch tv and SING KARAOKE at midnite in a HDB flat...?!??!?!?!

met up with my cute lil cuzzies on sunday~ havent seen them for so long... discovered some deep dark family secrets. *tsk tsk tsk* very dramatic... machiam some drama serial lidat. haiz. anyway, finally did the collage (using powerpoint -_-''') heez :)

i 'kapo-ed' a stack of ZO postcards from the hosp.. heez! was super excited to see those postcards cuz this series was meant to promote Allied Health professionals~!~! i took only the occupational therapy ones... hahaahahhaa~~~

ytd was ocean72's outing~ gan bei (aka scallop), ikan bilis, seahorse, jellyfish + xinyi left the sea for a karaoke session at kbox =P
'heibi' (aka prawn) then brought us to bedok 85 for dinner~ ordered ba-chor-mee, samba stingray, and various kinds of kueh from heibi's family stall. thankew~!! really oishi~! yums yums!!

went cgh for my usual follow-up appointment this morning. this one was probably the longest consultation i ever had. havent seen the doc since end-sept and my condition has been fluctuating since then. this time, my attending doc is a female ponegard [if u dunno wat this word means, kindly let me noe :)]. she's damn irritating can.. niam niam niam non-stop... keep accusing me for not taking care of my ear. idiotttt. eh hello.. i'm born with this narrow external acoustic meatus (aka ear canal, which connects the outer ear and the middle ear)... therefore this is not something within my control rite.. -_-'''
then she passed me on to another male doc for the usual dunno-wat-scopy. this male doc is either a house officer or medical officer (M.O.) cuz he's quite young and fresh. lol. alot more gentler than his ponegard senior. i would say his handling skills are much better than that ponegard... that woman jus anyhow pulled my ear as if she's a teacher punishing her student. really pekcek her sia.
back to that male doc..
yep, being an experienced patient with this dunno-wat-scopy which i have been undergoing since sec 2, i was very calm and composed when i lay on the plinth [some kind like surgical bed.. u get the idea.. yeah]. paiseh.. let me digress abit.. it kinda feels like palpation lesson being on the plinth.. lol* okie.. the watever-scopy feels alrite.. bearable pain as usual. at that time, only a nurse and the male doc were in the room until...
that ponegard came in again. with her nurse.
the male doc then told her that my external acoustic meatus very narrow.. cant see the tympanic membrane [ear drum]. haiz.. as usual.. docs always complain cant see my ear drum. that time during physio pract for ear, my classmates oso cant see loh. lol* i'm used to it. again, that ponegard woman PULLED my poor ear which was oredi in pain (in fact, i have high pain threshold for my ear) and her hand reached across my body to pass the male doc some sharps. wah piang.. i wonder why she nv fail her safety!!! imagine if she pokes me, i'll really scream at her! aiyo. she started speaking to the male doc in jargons [medical terminology].. i could understand some terms but i couldnt hear properly at that time cuz my ear has jus been traumatised by that woman and the watever-scopy. then they summoned another high-ranking doc in.. think he is a consultant or a senior consultant. he brought his nurse who also brought her nursing student along.
so, that makes it 7 pple encircling me where i was still lying on the plinth. -pengz- really LOL loh.
they had a mini discussion among themselves and i was interrogated by them. i was kinda amused by the scenario. really, i dun think there's a need to make a fuss over it. actually this happened before when i sought treatment in another hosp. but that's another story.
eventually, they decided to review me in 2 days time. in the meantime, they inserted a cotton gauze with some medication into my ear and instructed me to remove it only on thurs morning. wahlao eh.. the thing totally disrupted my hearing can. so once i stepped out of the hosp, i buay tahan removed it le.. *guilty* i'm such an uncompliant patient!
walked around bugis and saw some classmates in sim lim, OG and pasar malam... man, i felt like i'm being stalked by paparazzi.. now i understand how Jielun felt when those Apple Mag reporters stalked him and HouPeiCen (but at least i didnt point middle finger). LOL. its good to noe more pple are going sim lim to buy stuff.. really good bargain there.. haha!
